Ms. Mallory Peterson joined Friedman and Friedman after graduating from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2015. As a law student, Ms. Peterson served as a teaching and research assistant in the nationally-ranked Legal Research and Writing Program. While in law school, Ms. Peterson received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in courses of Legal Research and Writing and Local Government Law, as well as the Alumni Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing, the Best Brief Award, the Outstanding Oral Argument Award, and the American Bar Association State and Local Government Award for Excellence in Land Use and Local Government Law. In 2013, Ms. Peterson also participated in a summer legal studies program at China’s University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Peterson was a summer associate and law clerk at the Pittsburgh office of a Houston-based corporate law firm. Ms. Peterson has also previously served as a law clerk at a civil litigation firm in Jamestown, New York.
